WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

ELIGIBLITY REQUIREMENTS

 Emergency Financial Assistance Provides limited grants for Union members in emergency situations.

  • Current Union members in good standing
  • Union members within 1 year of layoff or termination
  • Reside in Working Partnerships service area: Hennepin, Wright, Carver, Scott, McLeod, Meeker, and Anoka Counties
  • Emergency situation including but not limited to: energy shutoff, eviction, mortgage foreclosure, layoff or termination, medical problems, severe financial crisis
  • May receive grant once in a 12-month period 
  •  Amount of grant dependent on available funds  

 

Emergency Food Program  Provides grocery store gift cards for Union members in emergency situations.

 

  • Current Union members in good standing
  •  Union members within 1 year of layoff or termination

 

  • Reside in Working Partnerships service area: Hennepin, Wright, Carver, Scott, McLeod, Meeker, and Anoka Counties
  • Emergency situation including but not limited to: energy shutoff, eviction, mortgage foreclosure, layoff or termination, medical problems, severe financial crisis
  • May receive up to 6 grocery store gift cards in a 12-month period.
